Grace Baptist Church at Amakom in Kumasi, Ghana was established 36 years ago. It is a leading evangelical church within the Ghana Baptist Convention. Grace Baptist Church is one local church that believes in holistic ministry of integrating evangelism and social action in Christian mission, and is actively involved in its practice. The church clearly sees salvation not only as a spiritual matter but has also economic and socio-political implications for both the individual and the community. This philosophy of Christian mission is clearly expressed in the vision and mission statements of the church.
This holistic approach to Christian mission also finds expression and is demonstrated in ten major ministries of the church. These ministries are:
